BioOnce upon a time, there was Peter Parker, Spider-man. And there was Norman Osborn, the Green Goblin.
When the latter defeated the former, both Parker and his alter ego disappeared. They were both eventually presumed dead and the heroes of the city, and Parker's friends and family, mourned. But this was not the reality of the situation. Norman had merely captured the young hero, keeping him captive and subjecting him to experiment after experiment, warping his mind and body. Thus Parker Osborn, Norman's second wife, was born. Lacking the slightest inkling of her origins, she was a loving woman, utterly devoted to the man who had saved her from the amnesiac void.
...at least, until he cheated on her. Enraged by this betrayal, she took revenge -- not only killing the hapless Miss Stacy and claiming her twin children as her own, but also using her scientific knowledge to re-create, and inject Osborn with, the spider-serum which once gave her six arms.
Now the mutated Osborn, his legitimate reputation ruined, has set his sights on becoming the newest crime lord in New York City. But Parker Osborn will have none of it. Claiming his old theme as he has been forced to claim hers, she has become the Goblin Queen, a heroine to some, her life devoted to making her ex-husband's life a living hell in any way possible.
